Protesters against Myanmar’s military coup returned to the streets of Yangon today (April 27).

Such open demonstrations in the centre of Myanmar’s largest were brought to a halt weeks ago by the military's deadly crackdown on dissent.

Yangon saw the first major demonstrations against the February coup that ousted the elected government of Aung San Suu Kyi.
