Python hides under the sand in cat’s litter tray
A python sparked panic after it hid under the sand inside a pet cat’s litter tray.
Punnut Sangsura, 25, said his mother found the reptile sticking its head out of the toilet in Bangkok, Thailand.
Pannut called the rescue team out of fear but upon the arrival of the volunteers, the snake was nowhere to be found.
However, in the late afternoon Pannut heard his pet cat made a loud hiss. He walked over and found the huge python curling up in the cat litter.
He said: ‘I was scared to death. If it wasn’t for my cat, that giant snake could have bitten my mother.’
The rescue team captured the snake and released it into the wild away from residences.
