Jakarta Islamic Center Jakarta, Indonesia, has a collection of the Koran with an unusual shape. The giant Koran measures 142 cm x 95 cm.

This Koran was handwritten by students from Saint Alquran University Wonosobo, Central Java, for many years and was sent to the Jakarta Islamic Center on February 25, 2002.

This giant Koran is 21 years old and is still being well cared for by the management at the Jakarta Islamic Center.

During Ramadan this giant Koran is on display for the public to see in person.

Given by Mr. Sutiyoso by Saint Alquran University Wonosobo, Central Java, on February 25, 2002.

It is their joy to provide this Koran, because it is as an appreciation for the success of Mr. Sutiyoso in changing the sacred black area of ​​the unreached to become an Islamic Jakarta center.

Technically, this Koran is like the Mushaf in general. The number of pages is 604 with usmani rasm, then made by students from Saint Alquran University Wonosobo.

Then this Koran is handwritten on special paper, for its size is 142 centimeters x 95 centimeters.

With umuruya now it's 21 years. We keep taking care of it, because we hope this is one of the assets of the Jakarta Islamic Center which we hope will become part of the treasures of Islamic civilization in Jakarta.
