Wild elephant strays onto plantation in broad daylight in eastern India
A wild elephant strayed onto a plantation in broad daylight in eastern India's West Bengal on April 26. The incident took place in the Salboni village, located in the Medinipur Sadar subdivision of the Paschim Medinipur district.
Visuals feature an elephant stationed in the middle of a plantation. The jumbo peacefully grazes and moves across the region at its own pace. Later, the magnificent creature stands near a fence, trying to cross over.
The elephant flapped its ears and swung its tail while the onlookers beheld the experience from a safe distance. Moreover, they alerted the forest department to seek assistance but received no response in return.
