A woman ran after a police vehicle and begged the officials not to arrest her husband in central India's Madhya Pradesh on April 30. The incident took place in the Sagar district.

Visuals feature the police officials conducting inspections to apprehend the locals out on the road during the pandemic-induced curfew. Later, they arrest a man, following which his wife pleads with the officials to let him go. She stands in front of their vehicle and later runs behind it, urging the officials not to arrest her husband.

The local police caught the couple in the market legion during the curfew. Following this, the cops questioned the duo and later arrested the husband for not adhering to the COVID-19 guidelines.

The woman tried to convince the cops that they were hosting a wedding and were on their way home after finding out that the shops were closed, but the police did not budge and took the husband into custody.
