The small-scale artisans whose income depends on selling pottery products daily underwent huge losses during the COVID-19 curfew in central India's Madhya Pradesh. Visuals shot on April 29 feature the plight of the artisans of the Sagar district.

Visuals feature several pots stacked above one another. The workers place the utensils properly on the sidelines of the road. Later, one of the artisans sheds light on how the COVID-19 curfew affected their small-scale business.

Several small-scale artisans belonging to the Prajapati community underwent huge losses after the government imposed a curfew to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Since the lockdown, the markets closed, curbing the only source of income for small-scale artisans.

Moreover, these artisans expressed their plight and urged the government to let them sell their goods on a hand-cart while adhering to all COVID-19 guidelines.
