Aggressive wasp struggles to carry live caterpillar while climbing a building
An aggressive wasp struggled to carry a live caterpillar while climbing up a building in Singapore on February 20.
Onlooker Adrian Lsf said the insect was trying to take its prey back to its nest alive so its offsprings could have some fresh food.
He said: ‘I’m fascinated that the wasp could carry a prey the same size as itself.
‘My passion is planting but it just happens that this wasp decided to build its nest in one of the pots hanging in my balcony. I live next to a forested area.’
