A slow loris was rescued from an illegal animal market in West Sumatra, Indonesia.

Footage from March 25 shows the rare animal being fed after it was seized by conservation officials in Lubuk Basung.

Several species of the slow loris have been listed as "endangered" on the International Union for Conservation of Nature.

The nocturnal animal has glands underneath their armpits that emit noxious oil that can transform their bite into a venomous one.
