US: Heavy Rains Cause Massive Flooding Across Alabama
Heavy rainfall and severe weather conditions stroke the southeastern US on Tuesday, bringing massive flooding to the Gulf Coast, left tens of thousands of homes power outages, toppled trees, and forced boat rescues on city streets and highways.
Rescue teams in boats evacuated apartment residents near Birmingham, Alabama after a flash flood emergency in parts of the area. The NWS warned flooding would continue to threaten residents, schools canceled, or moved classes online.
