Landslide crashes down onto road seconds after cars drive past in southern China
A landslide crashed down onto a road in southern China just seconds after cars drove past.
In the video filmed in a mountainous area in Sichuan province, several cars drove down a road as a landslide was about to happen. The vehicles managed to get past moments before the mud covered the road.
The local security personnel had restricted vehicles from passing through the road but the cars in the video violated the rules and insisted on passing. Fortunately, it was a narrow escape.
It’s reported that the landslide was due to heavy rainfall. At present, the road has been cleared and the traffic resumed.
The video was filmed on May 4 and provided by local media.
