This footage was filmed and produced 6 May 2021.

The protests were originally called in opposition to a now-canceled tax reform plan, but demonstrators have broadened their demands to include government action to tackle poverty, police violence and inequalities in the health and education systems. In Bogota, during protests people held balloons and signs that read "no to tax reform" in Spanish. According to Colombia's Human Rights Ombudsman, 16 protesters and one policeman have been killed in the demonstrations since last Wednesday. But that figure doesn't include reports of deaths in Cali on Monday, which the UN said it is still trying to confirm.

The video shows people marching in the streets of the capital of Colombia protesting against the national government of Colombia. You can see them holding signs, national flags and shouting slogans.
