A female Sub-Inspector's husband died on the hospital premises owing to the lack of medical treatment in central India's Madhya Pradesh on May 5. The incident took place in Ashoknagar District Hospital.

A video features the kin of the deceased wailing in agony as the hospital staff did not provide him any bed or medical assistance in the time of need. Moreover, his wife continues to sob as she mourns her husband's death on the hospital premises. Following this, she discloses that despite her constant requests, no doctor arrived to attend to her husband. Meanwhile, the police officials calm them down and place the corpse inside a body bag for further investigation.

The deceased, identified as Kamlesh Bhagat, worked as a tax officer in the Revenue Department. Moreover, his wife, identified as Aadiyana Bhagat, serves as a Sub-Inspector in the Chanderi police station. Kamlesh was rushed to the Ashoknagar District Hospital around 12 in the night as he endured severe stomach pain and constant vomiting issues. However, due to the lack of any hospital bed and doctors in the hospital premises to assist in the man's disease, he succumbed to his illness by the morning in the hospital gallery itself, while his children and wife beheld the occurrence.

Working as frontline workers, these people did not get any medical assistance, following which a family lost their loved one. This circumstance ultimately depicts the worsening condition of the country as owing to lack of beds and negligence of doctors and staff in the hospitals, patients succumb to their ailment.
