The Mae Sa River in Thailand thunders down from the mountains past a remote cafe in Chiangmai province
After days of thunderstorms and heavy rainfall, the Mae Sa (Sa River) is in spate. It forms part of the mountainous Doi Suthep-Pui National Park in northern Chiangmai Province of Thailand.
An excellent viewpoint is the River Rock Cafe Hill, which is accessible by crossing a footbridge just a few feet above the raging torrent. I dare you.
