This footage was filmed and produced 8 May 2021.

The government prohibits going home on Idul Fitri this year starting from 6-17 May 2021 to anticipate a spike in Covid-19 cases in Indonesia.

Entering the weekend, the security at the partition point of West Cikarang was tightened. Queuing for vehicles along the 1 kilometer can not be avoided. A total of 311 vehicles were asked to make a U-turn, including 255 private vehicles without supporting documents. The drivers were asked to make a U-turn at the Cikarang Barat Tiga toll gate which is a checkpoint as well as a guard to monitor that vehicles that have been turned back do not return to Cikampek. The guard is situational but the supervision lasts for 24 hours.

The video shows authorities screening drivers at checkpoints as Indonesia bans people travelling to their hometowns to celebrate Eid al-Fitr to mark the end of Ramadan to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
