London cyclist confronts angry motorist and taxi passenger for driving wrong way

A cyclist near Regent's Park, London, blocked a taxi and several other vehicles from driving the wrong way down a road.

The biker, Mike, positions himself in the road preventing the oncoming taxi from driving the wrong way down a road and turning right.

Mike, Cycling Mikey on YouTuber, asks the taxi driver to turn around as he is breaking the law.

A motorist from one of the cars behind the taxi then approaches Mike and demands him to move.

He is then joined by the taxi's passenger who appears to try and push the cyclist from out of the road.

After a four-minute standoff, the motorists eventually back down. They reverse and proceed to enter the correct lane.

Mike wrote on YouTube: "That was a decent bit of karma for them both. I chose to focus on the first vehicle, the cab, as on my own if I tried to block both I'd have them both drive past me.

"These drivers absolutely don't give a toss about anyone else on the roads, it's all pure self-interest and ego being shown by them here.

"Also I hope this video brings some shame to the old man who was the taxi's passenger."

This footage was filmed in February 2020.
