Cute orphaned albino elephant playing with her tube before joining her new herd for the day
Khanyisa is an orphaned albino elephant rescued in January 2020 from a poacher’s snare. She came to Hoedspruit Elephant Rehabilitation and Development (HERD) and went through three months of rehabilitation for the horrific wounds caused by the snare.
In this video, Khanyisa is seen playing with her favourite tube at the orphanage before she joins her new herd for a day out in the wild foraging and receiving her milk bottles from dedicated carers.
