Authorities apprehend local selling sanitizer as liquor in central India

The local police arrested a man for selling liquor made from sanitizers in central India's Madhya Pradesh on May 8. The incident took place in Sagar.

Visuals feature the police officials raiding the region and arresting the culprit. They ransack his kiosk and seize the sanitizer he was passing on as alcohol. Later, they took him to the police station to carry on with the arrest proceedings.

The police officials were tipped off about a man selling sanitizer as alcohol. Following this, the officials associated with the Moti Nagar police station raided the area and caught Suraj Panjwani selling the liquor. They immediately arrested him and seized the sanitizer recovered from him.

Later, the officials booked him under the National Security Act and apprehended him. Moreover, further investigation into the matter is underway.
