Colgate has apologised to the dad of a young autistic girl and pulled a TV ad after it referred to people with the condition as 'troubled.'

Duncan Casburn, 48, raised concern about the toothpaste giant's latest TV marketing campaign that featured the caption 'art teacher for troubled children'.

The advert prompted a backlash from the special educational needs community, which Duncan has been a part of since his ten-year-old daughter Sienna-May was diagnosed with a rare form of autism.
