The police officials used an unfamiliar strategy to discipline locals visiting temples amid the Covid-19 curfew in central India's Madhya Pradesh on May 11. The incident took place in Bhopal.

A video witnessing the incident features a couple of police officials deflating the tyres of the bikes parked outside the temple as the locals arrive there to offer their prayers. Moreover, they stuff all the footwears from outside the temple into a sack to teach them a lesson as they openly flout the curfew guidelines.

Several locals in the city visited the Chola Hanuman Ji Temple in the region, following which cops from the Chhola Temple police station rushed to the spot and confiscated all the footwear from outside the temple and took them over to the police station. The officials also deflated the tyres of all the vehicles parked outside the temple.

Moreover, the locals barged into the temple despite it being locked due to the lockdown imposed in the region. So to teach these violators a lesson, the cops used this unusual strategy on them so they do not repeat this mistake.
