The United Nations High Commissioner Michelle Bachelet has said on Thursday (May 27) that Israel's deadly airstrikes on Gaza may constitute "war crimes."

Footage from May 13 shows local residents picking through the rubble of a building in the centre of Gaza City that was struck by an Israeli airstrike.

According to local media, the al-Walid Building in the Rimal neighbourhood was mainly occupied by offices.

The destruction of the building has severely affected nearby residential buildings and other commercial premises, local media reported.
