Shell collector pushes through wet sand while searching for food
Drone footage shows a diligent shell collector pushing through wet sand in search of food while using a plank of wood like a skateboard.
The fisherman used the clever method to glide over the sinking surface while looking for shellfish during low tide in Ranong province, Thailand on March 6.
The filmer said: ‘I didn’t envy the work that this man was doing. He was covered in wet sand and had a lot of the beach to cover.’
Ranong is one of the main Thai provinces where shellfish such as mussels, cockles, and oysters are being caught or farmed.
