Jitendra Dhanuka came to collect ashes of his brother who died of Covid. Jitendra spoke about the grim situation in Mumbai crematoriums. He said:
“Everywhere, there are only dead bodies here. If you can go, then go and see inside or anywhere else, you will see the same thing. Only dead bodies are there.”

Rahul Dhanuka came to collect his father’s ashes. He died of Covid. Rahul said:
“People wear a mask and then remove it and handle the same mask with their hands. So there is no point of wearing a mask. They need to be taught how to dispose a mask, how to change a mask, how to handle everything. So, we need more public education how to deal with corona virus.”

Sarfaraz Baig is a cemetery worker in Mumbai. He said:
“I have to come for burial whenever I receive a call even at odd hours, when the body arrives. Bodies of corona patients are being brought here. Since this morning two bodies of covid victims have been buried. I have dug two more graves for possible covid victims and kept ready for tomorrow.”

Pratap Sawant is the Ambulance driver in Mumbai. He said:
“Since the relatives are afraid, they don’t physically want to touch the covid dead bodies of their relatives, the ambulance drivers have to do all the work. It’s not easy, it is a risky job. Yes, it is not easy…it’s risky.”
