Thousands of people protested in several Brazilian cities against racism and police violence, a week after an anti-narco police operation that left 28 dead in a favela in Rio de Janeiro. Under the slogan " No bullets, no hunger, no covid-black people want to live!" The demonstrators, wearing masks to protect themselves from the virus, demanded an end to structural discrimination against blacks and mestizos.

The video shows thousands of people protesting in Rio de Janeiro against racism and police violence. They protest under the slogans: "Vidas Negras Importam" means "Black Lives Matter", "chacina + vaccina", means "less butchery, more vaccines against the Covid19", "Nem bala, nem fome, nem covid o povo negro quer viver", means "without bullets, without hunger, without covid, that's how black people want to live". Demonstrators want to end violence and structural discrimination against African Americans.
