South African police stopped an anti-vaccine protest from proceeding to South Africa's parliament as they refused to mask up. The march was supposed to end at parliament to protest against Covid 19 vaccines, lockdown regulations and mask wearing.

Police prevented the march from proceeding but the protesters were allowed to demonstrate in the parking lot opposite the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

Dr Faiez Kirsten, a medical doctor, who opposes the vaccination process and denies the science behind Covid 19 research, addressed the crowd of about 100 people. He has called for government to stop the rollout of the vaccination programme.
