India's Border Security Force (BSF) showed off what it said was arms and ammunition dropped by a Pakistani drone in Jammu and Kashmir on May 14.

Officials said the weapons drop happened 250m into India, just its side of the border in Samba district.

The weapons included an AK-47 assault rifle, a 9mm pistol, a magazine, 15 pistol rounds, and a wooden frame used to support the items in the drone.

The weapons were retrieved from the same area where a trans-border tunnel was detected on November 22, and a Pakistani intruder was killed on May 5.

On April 24, two such drones entered Indian territory but flew back when BSF guards opened fire at them.

The Border Security Force (BSF) personnel recovered a huge consignment of arms and ammunition dropped by a Pakistani drone along the International border in northern India's Jammu and Kashmir on May 14. The incident took place in the Samba district.

A video features the BSF troops rejoicing at the moment after recovering a payload of weapons from the border. Moreover, the authorities disclose that in a nefarious plan hatched by Pakistan, they attempted to smuggle the arms and ammunition from across the International border. Following this, they display the firearms on a desk for public view.

The drone that released the weapons 250m (0.15 miles) inside the Indian territory along the International Border in Samba has been suspected to have flown back into its region. The BSF troops recovered the consignment of arms and ammunition, meant for people working with the terrorists near the Regal Post of the Border Security Force during midnight.
