Demonstrators in Wrexham, N. E. Wales protested in the town centre to show their solidarity and support for Palestine and Palestinians suffering yet another attack from Israel and its Military. It began with the forced evictions of Palestinians in the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood of East Jerusalem by Israeli security forces. Palestinian families have been forced out of their homes so that settlers can take possession. This for many is seen as part of an ongoing process of ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in East Jerusalem. Violence has also escalated significantly after Israel used rocket fire from Hamas as a pretext for beginning a bombing operation on Gaza and its unarmed civilian population.
