Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, persons dressed as Motu-Patlu cartoon characters distributed food to everyone in the hospital in central India's Madhya Pradesh on May 16. The incident took place in Jayarogya Hospital in Gwalior.

A video features two men disguising themselves as famous cartoon characters to amuse the ailing patients, their kin, and the medical staff to relieve them from their burden for some time. Moreover, they distribute food to the people present in the hospital for free and look after everyone. Meanwhile, the onlookers behold the occurrence in broad daylight.

A group of social workers sent over two men as cartoon characters in the hospital in Gwalior to cheer the patients, the medical staff, and their relatives as the Covid-19 struck the nation in the worst way possible. Moreover, they stay at the hospital to entertain them while everyone gets delighted upon noticing them. Moreover, they distribute food packets to everyone in the hospital premises for free as a part of their social service.

In Gwalior, around 500 new beds and various other medical equipment will be provided for the ailing Covid-19 patients in the newly-constructed hospitals. Moreover, in Dabra, the development of a hospital with 50 new beds is also in progress. Meanwhile, the locals roaming without a mask in the district are being detained and till now the officials have registered a case against 70,147 such violators. Furthermore, the authorities have collected a fine of over Rs. 63 lakh (USD 86,265) from them.
