Mother, daughter duo save sick, abused dog thrown in dirty canal
This is the touching moment a mother and her daughter saved a sick dog that had been thrown in a dirty canal.
Pet lover Trish Lawrence said her daughter called her to help the pooch after she saw it outside their home in Olongapo City, the Philippines on March 10.
The mother took a towel and pulled the dog out of the dirty water and proceeded to take him home so he can be cleaned.
Lawrence said: "My daughter told me that some kids were kicking the dog when she first saw him. The owner must have thrown him away because he was sick. The dog had a collar so someone owned him I am sure."
