A subordinate tax officer, identified as Sonam Pandey, along with the police officials, raided a store opened during the Covid-19 curfew in central India's Madhya Pradesh on May 19. The incident took place in Makronia in Sagar District.

A video features the officials conducting their regular inspection in the area during the lockdown in broad daylight. Following this, they invade a store being operated ingeniously and evacuate the place. Moreover, they interrogate the customers outside the shop while the others behold the occurrence.

To break the chain of Covid-19 transmission amid the locals, a lockdown was imposed by the authorities in the district. However, a garment shop owner, identified as Rajesh Jain, ran his store amid the curfew and kept the shutter closed to trick the cops. However, the officials busted the place and are conducting an investigation against the businessman, as well as the customers flouting the lockdown norms.
