Police officials recover explosives from village in central India
Police officials retrieved around 10 twine bombs from the forest cover in central India's Madhya Pradesh on May 20. The incident took place in Samnapur in Sagar District.
A video features several police officials stationed on the spot to investigate the matter and retrieve the bombs lying in the clearing of a forest cover. Following this, the officials disclose the matter while the onlookers witness the occurrence.
Around 10 twine bombs were found in the forest of Samanpur under the Surkhi police station. These explosives were often used in killing pigs in the region. The police have not yet discovered who placed them and when. However, the police have diffused them with the help of the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS). Sandeep Dubey, a resident of Samnapur, was going to his fields when he noticed the bomb lying and informed the Surkhi police station. During the search operation, 10 bombs were unearthed in the area in an abandoned condition, following which the BDS team examined them. Furthermore, an investigation into the matter is underway.
