400 metre (1,312 feet) long ultra large container ship Ever Golden arrives at the UK port of Felixstowe, late afternoon of 20 May 2021. There is a force 6 Southwesterly wind, and the ship requires the assistance of all 4 of the port's Svitzer tug fleet to swing (turn around) and come alongside the berth.
Ever Golden is a sister ship of Ever Given, the ship which went aground in the Suez Canal, and disrupted global trade in doing so.
Ever Golden has a capacity of 20,160 TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units), mixed between 20ft units (1 TEU) and 40ft units (2 TEU).
The ship sails a regular route between the Far East - China - and Northern Europe, via the Suez Canal.
