Police officials apprehend 10 miscreants for smuggling drugs in southern India

The police officials arrested 10 goons involved in smuggling cannabis and Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) in southern India's Andhra Pradesh on May 22. The incident took place in Kurnool.

Moreover, the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Gautamisali, discloses the matter to the public and assembles all the seized items on a counter.

The 3 - Town Police Station in Kurnool District has arrested 10 people for smuggling and selling cannabis, LSD. Around 17 kg (37.4 lbs) of cannabis worth Rs. 4.25 lakh (USD 5,829) and 22 milligrams of LSD valued at Rs. 27,500 (USD 377) were seized from their possession. The cops have also identified the undercover buyers on social media while the smugglers have been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
