A driver from the UK was astonished recently to find she had parked next to a vehicle with an almost matching number plate.

"I was drinking hot chocolate in the car park, and this car pulls in next to me after they had been to the ticket machine," Kim Jowett explained.

"They took a look at my number plate and knocked on the car window for me to get out and have a look. It was unbelievable!" she added.

The personalised number plates of both vehicles were only out by one number.

The remarkable moment was filmed in Bourton-on-the-Water in Gloucestershire on May 11.

'Kim Jowett was just slurping on her hot chocolate while sitting inside her cozy car in a car park when she noticed a person parking their vehicle right next to hers to reveal something very interesting.

"I was drinking hot chocolate in the car park, and this car pulls in next to me after they had been to the ticket machine," Kim explained to us. "They took a look at my number plate and knocked on the car window for me to get out and have a look. It was unbelievable!"

The number plates of both vehicles were exactly identical (bar one character).
