Wheeler Dealers the worlds biggest car show here chooses a Newquay girl Kerry Powell and the challenge is to restore her trusty 15 year old VW surf wagon ready for auction. Kerry will get to keep the proceeds for her new dream transport. The series is presented by Mike Brewer and the restoration is overseen by ex Formula One mechanic Marc 'Elvis' Priestly. With syndication to 220 countries and an estimated 700 million viewers this show dwarfs the BBC`s Top Gear. First day filming sets the scene with Kerry and surfboard posing on Newquay`s legendary Fistral beach. Kerry authentically rocks up in her battered VW and then drives off home in the Touran after filming. Produced for The Discovery channel the last 6 series have been based in the USA. The seventeenth series of this ever popular show is a welcome return to it`s roots back in the UK. Ant Anstead and Ant China are no longer on the show.
