Diver delighted after sea turtle swims near him while appearing to say ‘hello’
A diver was delighted after a huge sea turtle swam near him while appearing to mouth the word ‘hello’.
Footage shows the marine creature swimming closely to the diver who was filming it in Cebu province, the Philippines on March 8.
The turtle moved its mouth like it was speaking so diver Jan Michael Dela Vina said the animal wanted to talk to him.
He said: ‘I felt happy when the turtle approached me and it appeared as if he wanted to tell me something.’
