An elephant standing on its hind legs to reach the best part of the branches in a tree in South India.

A herd of nine elephants camped in the hilly village of Coonoor in Nilgiri district of Tamilnadu. As the Jackfruit trees bears ripened fruits the aroma that comes the fruit attracts the elephants that are hundreds of kilometers away. This heard is on their way to enjoy their jackfruit feast. But on their way some got hungry and started eating the juicy leaves from the nearby trees. One such elephant showed a strange behaviour of raising its front legs and inclined that legs onto the tree. Then it started enjoying the juicy leaves. Usually African elephants have this strange behaviour but even asian elephants too have now mastered in this skill.
