A fully grown tree got uprooted after Cyclone Yaas triggered a storm in eastern India's Odisha on May 26. The incident took place in Narasinghpur in Dhamra, located in the Bhadrak district.

A video features the fully grown tree lying on the road with its roots outside the ground. Strong winds blow in the region as the evergreen gets uprooted and falls to the ground. Meanwhile, the fire department personnel use several electric chain saw machines to chop the tree and remove it from the region.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the storm upgraded into a cyclonic storm and further intensified to make landfall towards the north of Dhamra and south of Balasore.

However, the Odisha government was prepared for the landfall near Bhitarkanika, Dhamra, and Chandbali and brought the regions under disaster management operations, along with Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, and Jajpur districts.
