The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) crew began to rescue and assist the victims of Cyclone Yaas in eastern India's West Bengal on May 26. The incident took place in Nayachar.

A video features the hovercraft sailing over the river water to help the sufferers of the cyclonic storm in distant regions. The air-cushioned vehicle glides and travels across the waterbody to reach its destination and provide aid to the locals.

Around 3,00,000 houses have been damaged while several people have been displaced in West Bengal due to rough weather conditions and cyclonic storms arising out of Cyclone Yaas. Moreover, the rising water levels have inundated various parts of West Bengal's coastal districts as sea waves touched coconut tree-tops.
