An amusing video has emerged of a wild squirrel inside a home in Hudson, MA, US.

The filmer captured the footage after waking up to find the daring rodent had broken into her house overnight.

“I woke to hearing a pitter-patter of little paws on my wood floor and what I thought was my Chihuahua who somehow got out of his crate (let's face it, he's the size of a squirrel),” the filmer later wrote online.

“But as I peered over to the floor I got surprised by this little squirrel and I, in turn, scared him from jumping on my bed. To this day I still don't know how the little guy got in!”
