'Hilarious footage showing the adventures of a group of friends on a frozen river that was on the verge of cracking.

This video, recorded in Poudre Canyon, Colorado, features Caleb Trent and his friends trying to jump across a chilly river. However, a crack causes the gap between edges to get wider, leading to some hilarious fails.

The filmer said: "We were trying to get to this boulder field called the Gandalf boulders. So, we had to cross this frozen river. We tried to use our crash pad as a bridge but Dawson decided to jump and broke off a huge chunk of ice."

He added: "On the way back that night, we saw that the gap had gotten twice as big so we had to sprint and jump but most of us botched it."

This hilarious footage was shot throughout May 13, 2021.
