A team of medical experts operated on a boy and saved his life after a wooden log pierced through his body in central India's Madhya Pradesh on May 18. The incident took place in Sagar.

Visuals feature the ailing boy lying on a hospital bed in a crowded ward. A wooden log remains stuck in his body. The wood penetrates from his chest and comes out from his back. Later, the patient rests after a successful operation while the doctors reveal the details of the case.

18-year-old Shivam Rajput met with an accident where his two-wheeler collided with the bullock-cart. Following this, a wooden log from the cart pierced through his body, puncturing one of his lungs. He was taken to a community health center and later referred to a private hospital, where four doctors operated on him for nearly five hours and saved his life. Moreover, Shivam is now in a stable condition after undergoing eight days of treatment.
