The emergency services personnel left no stone unturned to extend their ambulance service after Cyclone Yaas triggered flash floods in eastern India's Odisha on May 26. The incident took place in Basudebpur in the Bhadrak district.

Visuals feature the ambulances driving across the streets inundated in knee-deep water. The blue and red lights of the vehicle shine bright against the backdrop of the night sky.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the storm upgraded into a cyclonic storm and further intensified to make landfall towards the coastal areas. However, the Odisha government was prepared for the landfall near Bhitarkanika, Dhamra, and Chandbali and brought the regions under disaster management operations, along with Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, and Jajpur districts.
