A scooter rider luckily avoided serious injury after being knocked over by a truck in southwestern China.

In the video, shot in the city of Yuxi in Yunnan Province on May 23, a scooter suddenly turned left and drove across the front of a truck.

Since the scooter was in the truck driver's blind spot, the truck knocked over the scooter and pushed it forward.

Luckily, the scooter rider fell between the truck's wheels and avoided being run over.

According to reports, the scooter rider neither drove on the non-motorised vehicle lane nor let the truck go first. So she took the primary responsibility.

路口监控画面显示，当时这名女子骑着电单车行驶在腾霄路的机动车道上，行驶到抚仙路与腾霄路交叉口处时，在没有仔细查看左后方来车的情况下，直接往左行驶准备进入抚仙路。但她此时的位置，正处于左后方一辆大货车的视觉盲区内。

接下来可怕的一幕瞬间发生，女子直接被货车连人带车撞倒在地，她的电单车被货车左前轮推行了很长一段距离，而她本人幸运地倒在了货车两个前轮之间，又避开了货车后车轮的碾压，捡回了一条命。

当货车驾驶人察觉车轮处有异常时，这辆电单车早已被碾压得残破不堪。

经交警调查认定，该名女子在骑行电单车时未在非机动车道内骑行，转弯时也未让直行的车辆优先通行，承担事故的主要责任，货车驾驶人未按操作规范安全驾驶，承担事故的次要责任。（视频由云南台提供）
