A railway station building crumbled after a train passed through the region at high speed in Central India's Madhya Pradesh on May 26. The incident took place at the Chandni Railway Station, located in Burhanpur.

Visuals feature the collapsed building. Cracks appear on the structure as the walls crumble inside. As the speeding train passes by, the building trembles and falls, covering the station in dirt and debris.

The Pushpak Express was running at a speed of 110 kmph (68.3 mph) when the incident unfolded. The train routinely passes by the station. However, this time it caused a 17-year-old building to collapse.

Moreover, while no casualties were reported, the collapse slowed down the movement of the trains. Furthermore, the authorities suspended the Inspector of Works of the Khandwa-Burhanpur section and initiated an investigation into the matter.
