In this clip, villagers rescue a Nilgai, an antelope, that fell into a deep well, filled with water.

The incident happened at night time.

Someone spotted the animal in the morning and immediately told the police.

However, villagers decided not to wait for the authorities to come and to try and save the cow by themselves.

The rescue was successful. With the help of a generator, they pumped out the water from the 30 feet deep well. One of the people present at the scene went down and tied the animal, which was then pulled out.

The antelope reported minor injuries and was treated.

The clip was filmed on May 29 at Dumarsota village in the Jharkhand's Garhwa district, India.

Villagers quick response and alertness saved the life of a nilgai ( blue cow) which fell into a deep 30 feet deep well filled with water . The big animal fell into well during midnight hours according to villagers , in morning when someone noticed it into well he immediately alerted fellow villagers , than they informed the police and forest department team.also
But the villagers didn't wait for the forest team to arrive and they themselves arranged generator water pipes and thick ropes to rescue out the nilgai. Villagers told first with the help of generator they pumped out the water so that the cow didn't get choked due to exess water , after pumping out the water one of the villager went down and tied the ropes around the cow , villagers than pulled out the cow out of the deep well .
The nilgai got some Injuries on the body but it was minor , it was treated than and there and the animal was left . All the rescue mission was managed by villagers, forest team reached there but the villagers took the rescue in their hand
