Mother-cub bear duo spotted amid clearing in Sri Lanka
A mother-cub bear duo was spotted amid a clearing in Sri Lanka's North Western and North Central provinces on May 26. The incident took place in the Wilpattu National Park.
A video features a bear cub roaming around in a clearing surrounded by forest cover on either side. A few moments later, the mother bear appears from the woods. The cub approaches its mother, and the duo playfully engages with one another while occasionally grazing in the field.
The national park is known for the presence of leopards and bears in the region. Moreover, the animals often stray into the open, giving the onlookers a sight to cherish.
