Indonesians were banned for a second year from travelling to visit relatives in the traditional Eid homecoming known locally as “mudik.”
The video shows returning homecomers to Jakarta abeing tested for Covid-19 Antigen on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road at KM 34B. The new homecomers returned to Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi two weeks after Idul Fitri after the end of the Eid homecoming ban on May 27, 2021.
