Rotorua is a place with lots of thermal activities. Here is a snapshot right in the middle of the city center
This video is taken at Kuirau Park in the middle of the city of Rotorua. It is a lake that emits off steam because the water is boiling, bubbling and showing off steaming geothermal activity. It is most visited by tourist all around the world since you can actually be inches away from it and watch the geothermal activity up close and personal. While near the boiling lake, you can feel the heat especially if the steam blows in your direction. It has got an interesting story how the lake came to be, I live that for your imagination and visit New Zealand and come seenit for yourself . Kuirau Park is the only geothermal park in New Zealand that is public, totally free.
