It's all SIT ups and downward dog for this adorable pair of American shepherds who love nothing more than helping their owner keep fit.

One-year-old Tycho and Tesla, eight, help Timi Kosztin keep fit by playing along and copying her while she trains and leads crossfit classes. Tesla was even filmed LEADING the warm up at Timi’s crossfit class - which put a smile on everyone’s face.

Timi, 30, from the Bay Area, California, USA, said: “Fitness has always been a hobby of mine and my dogs both love trick training.

"It seemed like a natural fit to merge these and teach them gym tricks. Both love to give kisses after you're done with a set or after your workout.

“We had planned for Tesla to lead a crossfit class as part of the warmup. The class had some much fun. There were a lot of smiles and laughs. It was the first time I heard someone say burpees were enjoyable.

“Tesla is a rule-following, sweet, perfectionist - she loves to work, learn, and be part of anything that we are doing.

“Tycho is an affectionate, enthusiastic, goofball. He is happy to be involved in anything and everything and will do just about anything to be told he's a good boy.

“Nothing in these videos is particularly difficult to teach and all it takes is five minutes a day.

"Training with your dog is so much fun, helps you build a bond and will mentally challenge and exhaust them.”
