A wild sloth bear which entered into the residential area of a village in Chattarpur was rescued by forest department officials.

On 31st May when some villagers who were sitting in a shop noticed a bear in a cctv camera going from the area , they got shocked to see the wild animal in residential area of village , they alerted the local police and forest officials about the presence of bear . Police and forest officials immediately reached the spot and launched the rescue mission . The team first cornered the bear into the isolated godown area and locked it there . After that they tranqulized the bear , once the bear went unconscious they put it into cage and left it into the forest area .
No one got hurt during the rescue operation . Villagers got gathered to witness the rescue operation . The incident happened in bamitha village of chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh
